6. Home Remedies To Lighten Dark Finger Joints

Dark finger joints is a very common problem affecting the skin of men and women. The accumulation of melanin on the skin surface leads to hyperpigmentation as skin gets exposed to sunlight; this is externally manifested in the form of dark spots on the joints. Again there are several other reasons for this problem. However, I believe every beauty ailment has a diagnosis. I prefer going green when it comes to my skin. This is because vegan products and home remedies do not have any side effects, when used wisely, in contrary to chemical products. Here I have listed a few home remedies to get lighten your dark knuckles and help you to flaunt your hands with pride.

6. Home Remedies To Lighten Dark Finger Joints

1. Exfoliation Process
This is extremely important, as exfoliation of the skin on the fingers helps remove all dead cells. The dead cells that accumulate on the finger joints darken the knuckles. Use a good scrubber to scrub out any dirt and dead cells from the skin. Everyday when you take shower scrub your hands and wash thoroughly. Follow up with a good moisturizer as your skin would get dry after the exfoliation process.

2. Sugar And Lemon Juice
Sugar granules are also used for scrubbing, you can take some sugar in a container ans squeeze out some lemon juice over it. Mix properly and rub on the joints thoroughly. Do this for about 5 to 10 minutes everyday. Changes would not come overnight. You have to be persistent and religiously continue doing this everyday for faster results.

3. Honey and Lemon Juice Mixture
This remedy is effective during the early stages of spotting on finger joints. Mix equal proportions of honey and lemon juice in a bowl and rub it against the joints on the fingers. Keep for at least ten minutes before washing off with lukewarm water. Repeat the process everyday for at least a month before observing positive results.

4. Milk Cream
Sometimes, the natural scrubs only help remove dead skin and dirt from the skin surface. They fail to remove the dark spots on the skin. Milk cream is a natural skin lightening agent. To permanently lighten the natural skin tone of finger joints, spread and rub the fresh cream of milk everyday before shower. Wash off with lukewarm after 10 minutes of massage.

5. Pumice Stone
A pumice stone is used in most beauty parlours and is regarded as a good tool in a manicure-pedicure kit. Keep a pumice stone in your bathroom for everyday use. Take some shampoo (an anti-dandruff shampoo would be a good option) into a container and mix it with a generous amount of water. Apply the shampoo water on your hands thoroughly. Then take the pumice stone and rub it on your fingers and hands properly. Then rinse your hands properly with water.

6. Yogurt And Almond
Grind 1 or 2 almonds and add a tablespoon of fresh yogurt into it and mix properly.  This mixture is a very satisfying one, this is good for people with dry skin. As it helps in moisturizing. You can scrub your hands during a shower with a good scrubber and follow it up with this mixture. Apply and rub intensely on the hands and specially on the knuckles for 10 minutes or so. Then rinse the hands properly and pat dry with clean towel. For best results repeat this at least thrice a week.
